Getting started,.this is lonley no body to interact with

I think this looks like an interesting game but am having problems getting anything to build. there isnt a way to get info Its not like KOC(Kingdoms of camelot) where there is a global chat so i cant get info from anybody. How do you find an alliance and where is a mentor found .Playing as dark elf faction

I am learning this all pretty much as I go also. I know, this forum is pretty lame, huh. I find there are so many things I want to know but really have no idea where to even ask. I have totally scoured the encyclopedia and it is very vague.

the encyclopedia doesn't help much,but waiting does. Let your buildings collect what you need. Just don't play the game for a few hours or a day and you'll have enough.

No. That is bull crap! Keep playing.

Upgrade what you can. Do the sciences that you can. Check your sciences a couple times a day, if you can. Read everything in the encyclopedia. Read everything in the forums. Keep asking questions. Do not stop asking questions.

It gets more and more interesting... believe me... it is just a bit slow at first. I am finding it is getting better after 5 weeks of playing. I am totally digging it.

Hi. Actually what I found worked was building resource collectors and focusing on the quests. Then as soon as I could I started raiding my neighbors for resources. It's kind of a slow build up, but just keep the ball rolling.
