Yeah the forum is pretty inactive. The game is pretty active. You might want to join a clan and go from there.

I think pretty much all clans are mixed.

Looking for a clan... but looking for one where i can actually interact some.

Would you want a settler to found a city without knowing what type and size it was? Maybe I'm confused on what settlers do.

You get BG from ruins, so yes, you can find them without cash. Lakes also provide alot of BG's so they are very good finds.

Explorers can only go as far as the science is researched right? So if you send a settler, you won't know the size without first exploring it right?

Only colonize level 5 cities... I know many make the mistake of going for best one they see in exploration, but be patient and get a 5 for your next cities IMO.

I don't think its important to try to do that one. Basically its an attempt to get new players to buy Gems regularly. You will earn gems in ruins and lakes. You can also bid for them with Gold.

That's just my 2 cents, but I'm a fairly new player.

I ended up choosing governor/builder - thinking the attack buff will help me take ruins better and helps my building go faster. We will see how long I last as gov/builder.

I have option of governor = trader, or wizard necromancer

I am pretty new. I currently have 2 lands and a pit. I specialized in architect. I am finding it tough to develop my pit and main land, so pretty much just slowly monitoring my 2nd land. What are some strategic goals early game and mid game? Is the purpose of other domains to build more armies etc ...

Turns out the robbery attempt was by ruins monsters. I am exploring the grid now to see if there are ruins there. But I do have other instances of grid numbers still off.

I am Dark Elf. Do I avoid attacking other dark elfs and demons? And just attack Knights and Elves?

I look back at my commander messages and attempt to revist a site but the grid numbers given are not correct. Most are correct, but some are not correct. In fact i got alert that a robbery attempt is heading my way... but the grid origin is wrong. Anyone know what my issue may be? Also, I am a newer ...

Are there good Research speeds a new player should be targetting?

Optimum order of things to research?

Appears I should make sure I have fortifications created and updated, and a hero before opening my gate?
